Our baby is growing up! So we're taking advantage of the move to upgrade his furniture (especially seeing as how his feet hang off the edge of the bed these days...).

American size crib/toddler bed: 250E

No particle-board baby bed here; this is a beautiful piece of furniture. It's solid wood in Shaker style, with the highest quality mattress available when it was purchased.

You'll get all the parts to use it either as an adjustable-height crib/cot or as a toddler bed. Since it's American size (that is, longer and wider than a French cot), you can count on your child sleeping in it until s/he is 5 years old at least. 142 cm wide x 110 cm high (at back) x 80 cm deep.

Purchased new in the US 7 years ago and schlepped all the way to France. (Hey, we love this bed!) Will part with it for 250E.

Available for pick-up in Paris 14th.

Armoire

OK, we're still trying to figure out which armoires we'll have room for, but this one for sure is on the block.

SOLD -- Computer Armoire -- SOLD
This handsome computer cabinet is a real boon when you're in a small space.
  • Monitor can be placed at eye height, with space for computer and printer below
  • Sliding keyboard drawer
  • White board on one inside door, magnetic board on the other
  • Pigeon-holes and a small drawer for catch-alls
All these features in a dark, cherry-colored cabinet make this a win if you have to set up your office space in the living room. Just close the door and attach a child-safety device to the handles (included!), and your toddler will never get a chance to accidentally buy pharmaceuticals on PrescriptionsOnline.com!

Dimensions 81 cm wide x 140 cm high x 55 cm deep.

Bought at Hold Everything in the US 6 1/2 years ago for $400, selling for 90E.

Kitchen/Cuisine

We have a number of delightful items for your kitchen, all at knock-down prices.

Scholtes Gas/Electric Programmable Range: 250E -- SOLD

The pièce de résistance is our Scholtes range. With three gas hobs and one electric, you have the flexibility to crank up the heat or simmer at extremely low temperatures. The oven is electric and programmable, with the option to delay the start time. (Free demonstration included!) Temperatures up to 300 degrees C, with baking, grilling and rotisserie settings. Self-cleaning. The cold door feature is well appreciated in a household with young children.

Range is in white; includes a workspace that can fold down over cooker. One slight chip in enamel, otherwise in impeccable shape.

To be honest, I'm loathe to part with this baby, by far the swankest piece of culinary equipment I've ever owned. If you love to cook, this oven has your name on it. If you don't, it will make a convert of you!

Purchased new in 2001 for 750E. Yours for 250E.

Faure Dishwasher: 125E -- SOLD

Next is our dishwasher. It's a Faure model LVS 563; nothing to write home about, but it does the job when you're not up to standing over a sink of hot, soapy water. Well maintained, though the removable workspace on top has a few nicks from a knife. The top rack can be lowered to accommodate tall wine glasses.

Dimensions 60 cm x 60 cm x 85 cm.

New was 450E (zowie! I'd forgotten!); will sell for 125E.

Ikea cabinet -- SOLD

This is a dead practical cabinet, which we use as a cutlery drawer on top with pots and pans on the wire shelving below. Face is "Adel creme" style, one of Ikea's higher quality finishes. Paid more than 150E all in, selling for 40E.

Pots and pans not included!

N.B. Pick up on all kitchen items between 7 and 12 July. We may be able to get our movers to bring appliances downstairs for you on the morning of the 10th.

Yet Another Moving Sale!

Yes, we are moving from our second floor flat in the 15th and have items to sell. To purchase or inquire, please leave a comment or send a message to BuyOurStuff.Paris@gmail.com.
